It’s Almost Time for the Fair!

The Wisconsin State Fair will be starting in a couple of weeks at State Fair Park in Milwaukee. It’s always one of the highlights of summer for Wisconsinites including myself. There’s something for everyone to see and do, from farm animals to new products, and carnival rides to great food! Speaking of food, you’ll find many of the best eats in the air conditioned Wisconsin Products Pavilion. We’ve been a part of the Wisconsin Products Pavilion for many years and I can honestly say I don’t think you’ll find a better place to eat at the Fair than here. Whether you like brats or baked potatoes they’ve got it all…and why not have both! The menu at Usinger’s booth this year includes bratwurst w/kraut, smoked brat w/kraut, Italian sausage w/pepper & onions, Beef Frank, and our classic Reuben sandwich. Of course all of our sausages are served on tasty Miller Bakery Pretzel buns.

It’s All Happening at the Fair!

The Wisconsin State Fair begins on Thursday August 4th thru August 14th. No trip to the Fair is complete without a brat or a hot dog from Usinger’s, Milwaukee’s oldest family run sausage shop. We are located in the air conditioned Wisconsin Products Pavilion where you will find the best food at the best price.

All of our sausages are served on hearty Miller Bakery Pretzel buns and are priced right at just $ 4.00. The service is fast, friendly and efficient.

Quarter pound Bratwurst, served with Kraut

Quarter pound Italian, served with peppers & onions

Quarter pound Smoked Brat with Cheddar & Jalapeno

Jumbo All Beef Hot Dog

The Best Fair Food at the Best Fair Price

The Wisconsin State Fair begins its 11 day run on Thursday July 31. It has become a Wisconsin tradition each summer and it’s been around even longer than we have.  The first Wisconsin State Fair was held in Janesville in 1851.  It moved around quite a bit the first 40 years, but settled in Milwaukee at its current location in 1892.  Usinger’s is a proud participant of the fair and has a booth in the Wisconsin Products Pavilion with many other great Wisconsin companies.  You will find some of the best food at the fair in the pavilion and also some of the best prices.  From apples to ice cream and potatoes to Usinger brats, it’s the place to go.  Usinger’s is Milwaukee’s oldest and still family run sausage kitchen.  Come visit the Usinger booth inside the air-conditioned Wisconsin Products Pavilion. There you will find the best food at the best price at the fair.

Welcome to the Fair

Hard to believe it’s already August. Time for the Wisconsin State Fair and Usinger’s is proud to be part of this great Wisconsin tradition!  It’s a terrific showcase for Wisconsin agriculture and meat producers as well as food producers of all types.  Which is why we love being there too.  Look for us in the Wisconsin Products Pavillion right inside the main entrance.  We are featuring four sandwiches each priced at only $3.  All are served on locally made Miller Bakery Pretzilla soft Pretzel buns and include our famous Frankfurter, Italian, Bratwurst and new this year our smoked Jalapeno Cheddar Bratwurst served Reuben style with sauerkraut and thousand island dressing.  It truly is the best Meal Deal at the Fair!  Hope to see there!
