‘Tis the season.  Like we really need an excuse for beer and brats right off the grill.  If you haven’t tried it before, Fall is a great time to dress up those brats with Usinger Festival Sauerkraut.  We make it ourselves; kraut simmered with apples, onions, brown sugar and smoky Usinger apple wood smoked bacon pieces.  Conveniently packed in 1 Lb. tubes, it’s easy to use … just heat and eat.  Nothing warms up a crisp fall day like a hot grill of sizzling Usinger sausages.

That’s the real smell of Autumn.

  1. Can’t wait to try both the sausage chili and the sauerkraut. Being from WI, born/raised in MKE, I grew up eating these brats, but loved to eat them with the German Potato salad from Piggly Wiggly. Is there anyway you folks could send a package with some of that potato salad instead? On a future order of course. The last time I was in MKE visiting family, Piggly Wiggly told me they get their GPS from a place near the airport called Country Maid, Inc. I’ve tried contacting them before but had no luck in talking with anyone to see if I can order direct from them. Your brats and even the natural casing wieners go perfect with that potato salad, seriously … that combo with a beer, and it doesn’t get any better … Aloha, from a fellow Cheesehead. GO PACK GO!

    1. Aloha and Go Pack Go to you also. Thanks for the comments regarding our sausage. We cannot help with shipping your favorite GPS, however you have certainly made me hungry for some. Think I’ll stop at Piggly Wiggly on the way home. Weather is still pretty nice here in Milwaukee. Got a feeling that when it is cold and snowy and I’m eating potato salad, I’m gonna wish I could trade it for some of that sunshine. thanks again for contacting us.
